Jen White Harris brings 15 years of experience to Jen Harris Studio. She focuses on photography, exhibition design, and all aspects of digital imaging. Drawing on the knowledge and experience gained from working with both small and large organizations, Jen Harris Studio is able to offer a personal working relationship with each client while producing the highest quality product.
In 2004, Jen began work with Chris White Design Incorporated - a museum exhibition design business. She drafted exhibit layouts, participated in photo research, photographed and digitized artifacts, and designed exhibition graphics. In 2006, she began working with the Smithsonian Institute (SI) as a photographic processor and digital archivist. From 2009 - 2015, she operated the Cruse Scanner while continuing to digitally archive SI collections. She has roughly archived over 10,000 pieces of artwork. In 2015, she founded The Story of Our Schools, a program that invites schools in DC to share, via exhibition space, their individual "school story" as seen through the eyes of students.
Jen Harris graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science in Photography. She currently resides in Washington, DC with her husband, son, and dog.
